Here are three films for the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority, exploring a proposed treatment called Mitochondria Replacement.
This treatment would use DNA from a third party, to create embryos free from Mitochondrial Disease. The films were shown at a series of public consultations, to help people make an informed decision about the ethics of such a treatment, and whether it should be permitted in the UK.
