SCIENCEWISE EXAMPLES

We’re an ethnographic research and filmmaking agency, specialising in sharing stories of lived experiences. Our insights and films help clients better evaluate, design and communicate their policies, products and services.

We’ve been doing this for over 20 years, we listen to our clients as closely as our participants, and we like to keep things simple.

We’ve documented public dialogue events and made explainer videos for Sciencewise, on topics such as: bovine TB, pollinators, stratified medicine, recruiting patients for health research, and driverless cars. And we’ve researched people’s eating habits for the Food Standards Agency.

Our other clients include: BBC’s Children In Need, Greater London Authority, NHS England, Essex Coalition for Disabled People, Defra, DCMS, OFGEM, the Centre for Ageing Better, SCIE, Vodafone, LG, GSK and Unilever.

Below are some examples of:

  1. event films with participant vox pops;
  2. explainer films containing different types of animation;
  3. films about lived experiences related to health;
  4. remote/digital ethnography, including the use of video diaries.
