This campaign film was shown to MPs at the House of Commons. To protect the young people’s identities, the film was made by recording audio-only interviews that were then brought to life through a mix of animation and live action. The interviewees also helped out on set during filming as part of a ‘co-production’ process.
Made of still images and audio interview recordings.
Questions were mixed into a hat for a mother and son to pull out and ask each other. Overall, 18 families were followed for this project, which also resulted in written family portraits, a video case study, and an insights report with recommendations for better support.
