Where several different places were visited for a single film:
We visited over 20 community businesses across three areas, to understand what they do, and how they’ve benefited the local communities. The film is edited into three emerging themes: about the community businesses; improving personal skills, confidence & connections; promoting community empowerment & wellbeing.
We visited four different projects in Pendle, Lancashire, to understand: how and why participants got involved, what the benefits are, and what recommendations they had to get more people involved.
We visited four different groups for over 55s across Lincolnshire, to find out: what matter most to people as they get older, what would help make a positive difference, and what it’s like growing older in the county. This video is a little different, in that it’s based around audio recording and still image photographs, with a poignant result.
Where several people were interviewed in a single place, for a single film.
As part of the charity’s 2019 evaluation report, we were commissioned to spend a month visiting one Into University centre, in Brent, to create an in-depth ethnographic video case study about the place and its impact.
This is one of several case study films, as part of the evaluation of the Next Generation programme, which funds community energy projects. In this film, we visited Devas youth club in south London, which has had a heat pump installed by Next Gen beneficiary, Crew Energy.
Below are some examples of project work with young people.
